The onus is on them to fix a flawed update and do so quickly. I don’t see why the onus is on me, or anyone who doesn’t work at GOG to find a workaround for an error on an update I didn’t opt in on. GOG Galaxy 2.0 doesn't do anything to mess with that basic formula it's clearly worked pretty well for CD Projekt so far.
