AG4 is great for hitting for any purpose be it killing or hitting enemy carrier because you might have to dodge to do it. And nobody is going to entrust the ball their BIg Guy player (ogre, rat ogre, ect) with the ball unless it happened inadvertently. And then is likely to prioritize ghouls for that task. An undead team for example is mainly going to use ghouls and wights to move the ball down field. Other races have far more specialized players. Although some positionals will be better at it due to getting specific skills for free.
